The K900 comes with an attractive price tag of 32,995 INR when compared to the HTC One, which comes for 42,900 INR. Let us go ahead with this interesting comparison, segment by segment.
Display And Processor
The display on the K900 is a large 5.5 inch panel, which comes with a full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. While on the other hand, the HTC One offers the same full HD resolution on a much smaller 4.7 inch panel, which means there will be quite a lot of difference in the pixel densities on the screens of both these phones.
The 5.5 inch display on the K900 means that it will be a pretty big phone, and it will be tougher to carry it around when compared to the HTC One. The K900 might prove to be a better phone for people who read a lot in the form of e-book reading or web browsing. On the other hand, the HTC One might be the better option for people looking for a smaller device which easily fits in the pocket.
Both phones come loaded with a lot of power when it comes to processing. The K900 houses an Intel Atom Z2580 in the Intel Clover Trail+ chipset, while on the other hand the HTC One packs the Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset with a quad core 1.7GHz Krait processor built into it. This means that no processor is mug when it comes to power, both are using top-of-the-line hardware.
Camera And Memory
This is one segment where it gets interesting. The K900 packs a 13MP rear and a 2MP front shooter, while the HTC One comes with a 4MP Ultrapixel rear and a 2.1MP front camera. It is a known fact that the 4MP rear camera is a superb performer in daylight but it does not keep up with expectations in low light conditions. Lenovo have not implemented any new technology like the Ultrapixel in the One, but the 13MP should prove to be better than HTC One’s 4MP in low light conditions.
Both phones come with 2GB of RAM which should prove plentiful even for the most advanced users. The K900 comes in only one variant, i.e., the 16GB variant, but the phone also has a slot for microSD cards. On the other hand, the HTC One comes with an option of 32/64GB of storage. However, the HTC One does not come with an SD card slot, hence there is no offering of a 16GB version.
Battery And Features
The HTC One comes with a 2300mAh unit whereas the Lenovo K900 packs a 2500mAh battery. You can expect the HTC One to last longer than the K900 on a single charge thanks to the smaller screen and higher optimization levels. Both the phones shouldn’t have a hard time taking you through one work day. Both these devices come with a non-removable battery, however you can get the battery replaced a the service centre.
Other features of the HTC One include Beats Audio enhancement, MHL TV out, etc which lacks in the Lenovo K900.

Conclusion
The K900 is a good phone with a greater value for money, but the HTC One boasts of superior build and great customer support. Ultimately, it would depend on your budget; if you can afford paying the extra 10-odd thousand, then the HTC One is definitely the better choice. However, for about 8-9,000 INR less, the K900 is again a great choice. This is to say that you cannot go wrong with either.
The HTC One is available and priced at about 40,500 INR, while the K900 should be available in the coming few weeks and costs 32,995 INR.
