Swipe launched the Elite 2 Plus joining the bandwagon of affordable, entry-level devices with support for 4G VoLTE. The Swipe Elite 2 Plus comes with a 5 inch display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It supports dual SIM and 4G VoLTE, allowing you to make voice and video calls over Reliance Jio‘s 4G LTE network. Swipe has priced it at Rs. 4,444.
InFocus also launched its own set of affordbale smartphones. The Bingo 10 was launched back in March this year. It comes with a 4.5 inch display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The big difference between the two phones is that the Bingo 10 does not support 4G LTE, though there’s dual SIM support.

Design & Build
The Swipe Elite 2 Plus comes with a 5 inch FWVGA resolution display. The phone comes in a plastic shell with dimensions of 143 x 72 x 9.8 mm. The front of the phone features the display, earpiece, front camera and the capacitive navigation buttons. On the back, you will find the camera sensor, LED flash and the Elite branding. Towards the bottom, you will find the loudspeaker. Given its specs and the battery, the phone is a little thick.
The InFocus Bingo 10 comes with a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with the same FWVGA resolution as the Elite 2 Plus. On the front, you get the display, earpiece, front camera and an LED flash. Below the display you will find the InFocus branding. On the back, there’s the camera, LED flash and a loudspeaker. Like the Elite 2 Plus, the Bingo 10 also features a plastic build, although it’s more colourful.
Display
The Elite 2 Plus features a 5 inch FWVGA IPS LCD display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~196 PPI.
The Bingo 10 features a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS LCD display with the same resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~217 PPI.
Both the phones come with similar resolution displays. Even though the Bingo 10’s PPI is higher, it may not necessarily be good enough for those who want a big display.
Hardware and Storage
The Elite 2 Plus is powered by a quad core 1.3 GHz processor clubbed with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. Storage on the device can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
The Bingo 10 is powered by an octa core Mediatek MT6580M processor clubbed with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card.
Camera
Talking about the camera, the Elite 2 Plus is equipped with a 5 MP primary camera with LED flash on the back. On the front it has a 2 MP shooter.
The Bingo 10 comes with 5 MP camera on the back as well as the front. Both the front and back cameras come with an LED flash. However, both the cameras do not support autofocus, so you will have to live with fixed focus.
Battery
Coming to the battery, the Elite 2 Plus features a 2500 mAh battery while the Bingo 10 comes with a 2000 mAh battery. The batteries may be small, but given the price of the phones, it does seem adequate.
Pricing & Availability
Swipe has priced the Elite 2 Plus at Rs. 4,444 and it is available on Flipkart in Black and White colors.
The InFocus Bingo 10 is priced at Rs. 4,299, and is available in two colors – White and Black. The White color comes with green edges, whereas the Black color comes with blue edges. The phone is sold exclusively on Snapdeal.
Conclusion
As usual, it is a pretty close battle between the Elite 2 Plus and Bingo 10. However, the Bingo 10 does not feature 4G LTE support whereas the Elite 2 Plus does. Given the popularity of 4G LTE in India at the moment, it would be prudent to go with Swipe’s device instead of InFocus.
