Answer- The Gionee S6 sports an all metal build, which gives it a premium feel in the hand. The phone doesn’t feel slippery when held in the hand. Coming to the build quality, the build quality of the phone feels really sturdy by just holding it in the hand.

Answer- In terms of bloatware, there are a lot of apps pre-installed on the phone. But the good news is that these apps can be uninstalled from the settings without any problem.

Answer- The device does support USB OTG (according to the box), but when we tried to connect a microUSB OTG with the help of a USB Type-C to microUSB adapter, we were not able to connect the drive.

Answer- Yes, the Gionee S6 Offers a lot of themes that can be downloaded using the in-built theme chooser.

Answer- There are two speaker grills at the bottom, but only the one on the right is the actual speaker. The loudspeaker is decently loud. The music output was good from the device.

Answer- The call quality on the Gionee S6 was good. I could hear the other person fine and the other person could also hear me well. The secondary noise cancellation microphone on the back plays a good role during the call.

Answer- No, the Gionee S6 can not record Slow Motion videos.

Answer- With limited time with the device, we can’t comment on the battery life of the device, but since it packs a 3150mAh battery, it should give some good battery life with just a 720p HD screen to power.

Answer- Yes, there is an in-built power saving mode in the phone that can be used to extend the battery to a great extent. With 42% battery remaining, the phone showed us 2 hours and 7 minutes available, but with regular power saving it showed approx 3 hours and 40 minutes and with the extreme power saving mode, the device showed a battery life of around 189 hours.

Answer- The phone supports various sensors, such as Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, Gyroscope sensor, and Magnetometer.

Answer- The Gionee S6 weighs around 147 grams. It feels light in the hand, even after using it for a long time continuously.

Answer- During my use of the phone, the phone did not heat that much. After clicking a few pictures on the phone, by using different modes, it seemed to heat up a bit, but nothing major. Even while gaming, I did not feel that it’s getting anything really hot.

Answer- Yes, the phone can be connected to a bluetooth headset easily.

Answer- The gaming performance on the phone is pretty good. While playing Asphalt Nitro, the phone did not lag at all, and provided a smooth gaming experience. The Asphalt Nitro was pre-installed on the phone, so you can consider it as bloatware.
