ZTE Blade A2 Plus Launched At Rs. 11,999 – 4GB RAM, 5000mAh Battery

Chinese smartphone maker ZTE is famous for its nubia product line in India. Today, the company released a phone called ZTE Blade A2 Plus in India. Featuring a massive 5000 mAh battery, the Blade A2 Plus also comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display and 4GB RAM. The phone has been priced at Rs. 11,999.

The Blade A2 Plus is a unibody metal slab with a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD display on top. At 1920 x 1080 pixels, you get a pixel density of ~401 PPI. It runs on MiFavor 3.5 UI based Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 SoC that has eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz. The processor is supported by Mali-T860MP2 GPU. To put in perspective, it is the same processor used in Asus Zenfone 3s Max. It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM that can be expanded via microSD card (hybrid slot).

In the camera department, you get a 13MP sensor on the back with Phase Detection Autofocus and dual LED flash. On the front, it uses an 8MP sensor with fixed focus.

You get dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro USB port for data sync and charging. It houses a massive 5000 mAh battery. The sensors on board are Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, and Fingerprint Sensor.

Price and Availability

ZTE has been selling Nubia phones exclusively on Amazon. However, with the Blade A2 Plus, ZTE has opted for Flipkart. The phone will go on sale on Flipkart at a price of Rs. 11,999 starting from Feb 6th. There are two color options: Gold and Grey. At this price point, it should compete with the likes of Redmi Note 4, LeEco Le 2, Lenovo K5 Note, Lenovo K6 Power etc.
