Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Quick Hands on Pictures, Video [MWC]

From the past many days we were seeing the speculation coming about Galaxy Note 8. We have heard many news and have seen many images leaking out but were expecting the official announcement at MWC 2013 at Barcelona. But Samsung has surprised all by disclosing the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on its facebook page right before MWC. In their facebook update, the company provided the detail about the product specification. Samsung say the GALAXY Note 8.0 has the power and advanced technology to evolve the tablet experience and ensure you achieve new levels of efficient multi-tasking while benefitting from superb voice call functionality. Samsung is clearly pushing this devices as a successor of its super successful Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310. And now we have seen the device in MWC 2013 finally.

Coming toward the technical specification the Note 8.0 will be 7.95mm thick with the weight of 338gms with the calling functionality enabled with an ear piece on the front. It is again a big Smartphone like Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and seems heavier. But with the dimension provided the weight looks reasonable. It will be having a 8.0-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) TFT Super Clear LCD display.

The most attracting feature will be the battery and the latest OS. The Note 8.0 will be running Android 4.1.2( Jelly bean) which is the latest running in the market. It could also support all the basic connectivity including 3G HSPA+ 21Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Wi-Fi Direct,Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS + GLONASS (3G version). The battery of the 4600mAh is really an attracting feature of the device.

As Samsung has enabled the calling feature with this device, the Note 8.0 looks really attractive. It also fancily takes a jab at the Apple iPad mini but the price will decide the final judgement. No words have been provided on the price tag and availability for Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. So have to wait for the official announcement of price to compare it with IPad mini and make any judgment.
