Canon EOS 5D Mark IV With Wi-Fi and GPS Launched In India

Canon has finally updated the EOS 5D DSLR line-up with high end camera EOS 5D Mark IV. It is the successor to the 5D Mark III. It was globally unveiled yesterday and was launched today in India. It has been upgraded considerably in every terms and will be available in October.

Now it has got a higher, 30.4 Megapixel 5mm Full Frame Canon CMOS sensor and the DIGIC 6+ Image Processor which delivers 4K 30P video and up to 7 fps continuous shooting. It uses Canon’s propriety Dual Pixel CMOS AF Live View shooting, which is a big advantage as it delivers smooth, camcorder level auto-focus while shooting videos.

Canon has also introduced 4K video recording at 23.98 fps, 24 fps, 25 fps and 30 fps. And unlike the EOS 1Dx model, 4K resolutions is limited to 30 fps instead of 60 fps. Moreover, it can shoot 1080p at 60 fps and 720p video at 120 fps which makes it a first full-frame Canon DSLR which is capable of shooting slow-motion videos in HD.

The LCD panel equipped in it, now comes with a full touch-screen interface. We can tap to focus and pinch and zoom while viewing the images. It has also got WiFi, NFC and GPS which is introduced to 5D models for the first time . It also features a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack and directional stereo microphone DM-E1 connection. It measures 150.7 x 116.4 x 75.9 mm and weighs around 800gms.

Canon 5D Mark IV Price

Canon 5D Mark IV body only comes at a price of INR 2,54,995. Canon 5D Mark IV body with EF 24-105mm lens is priced at INR 324995, and the body with 24-70mm lens is priced at INR 3,06,999.
