Last week, Xiaomi has announced its yesteryear flagship model Mi3 with a tempting price tag of Rs 14,999. It was claimed that the device will enter sale on July 25 and it will be available exclusively via e-commerce portal giant Flipkart. Following the same, the retailer has come up with a teaser of the device on its official Twitter account.
The tweet reads, “Gripping pace, artistic merit, a vibrant display! Coming soon exclusively on Flipkart!” Whereas, the tag line “Accelerate your future” is also included in the Mi3 page on the official Xiaomi website hinting that it is the meant for the availability of the Mi3.
Following the same, Flipkart has taken to its Facebook page this morning with another teaser that shows a device that is clad in a metallic build. The teaser reads, “A Hell in a cell! A sculpted body of work! Coming soon exclusively on Flipkart!”
It has to be noted that the button placement in the teaser is different as compared to the exact placement on the handset. On the Xiaomi Mi3, the volume rocker is placed above the power key, in the teaser is appears vice versa. Also, while the side edges are made of plastic, it appears like metal in the teaser images.
It has to be noted that Xiaomi has already tied up with Flipkart to sell its offerings exclusively. Hence, the listing of the Xiaomi Mi3 could be from a seller who has hold of the handset. The device is fitted with a 5 inch IPS LCD display with FHD 1080p resolution and a quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor supplemented by 2 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi3 features a 13 MP primary camera sensor with auto-focus, dual LED flash and FHD 1080p video recording. This is accompanied by a 2 MP front-facer that can make video calls at FHD 1080p resolution. Furthermore, there is a 3,050 mAh battery under the hood powering enough life to the handset.
