So after the launch of Ascend W1, Huawei is launching it’s another phone named as Ascend W2 in the same series with Windows Phone 8 OS and its specs have been leaked in the market. Ascend W1 with 1.2 Dual Core Qualcomm Krait was ahead of Nokia Lumia 720 in terms of power but on the terms of RAM they were same but on the spec of camera Nokia Lumia jumped ahead. Now the new rumors of Ascend W2 makes it more powerful than these two phone and as of now nothing has been discussed on the price.
The processor used in Huawei Ascend W2 is the same as it was available in Ascend W1 but the frequency at which cores are clicked has been increased to 1.5 GHz and now RAM has been upgraded to 1GB. Again with the slight increment in the size of the display from 4 inches to 4.3 inches they have also increased clarity on the screen which is HD this time with 341 pixels per inches and the battery strength has also be increased but by a very small margin. The primary camera which is expected to be used on Ascend W2 will be of 8MP supported by LED Flash light with the feature HD video recording at 1080p.
The battery of 2000 mAh which is similar to that Nokia Lumia 720 will provide the stand-by time of 200 hours and as of now this has been listed at the price of 289 USD. There is not word about its availability and pricing in India but we can expect it to be around 15k INR in terms of price. We will keep you updated with the launch of this Windows Phone.
