Huawei Honor 6 (Full Review) which has been on the cards, has officially been introduced in India with a very competitive price tag of 19,999 INR. The handset offers Aluminum alloy frame, octa core chipset, 3GB RAM and full HD display, which is impressive at this price range.
Honor 6 sports a 5 inch 10 finger multi touch IPS LD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels spread across it. We found the display to be very crisp, with good viewing angles, sunlight visibility and good colors.
The processor used is Huawei’s own Kirin 920 octa core chipset with Mali T628 MP6 GPU. The octa core CPU has 4 Cortex A15 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and 4 Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. The chipset is aided with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB expandable storage.
Huawei has also provided a decent 13 MP shooter with wide f2.0 aperture and BSI sensor at the rear along with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front shooter for video calling.
The battery capacity is 3100 mAh which will last for more than one day with moderate usage. Software is Android 4.4 kitkat with Huwaei’s Emotion UI on top. Other features include 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and NFC.
