Intex Cloud Scan FP With Fingerprint Sensor Launched For Rs. 3,999

Intex Cloud Scan FP is the latest smartphone from the Indian company, featuring a fingerprint sensor at a price of Rs. 3,999. The Cloud Scan FP comes with a 5 inch display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Expanding the Cloud series of smartphones, Intex’s latest phone is the cheapest smartphone to feature a fingerprint sensor.

The Intex Cloud Scan FP comes with a 5 inch FWVGA IPS LCD display. At a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, you get a pixel density of ~196 PPI. It runs on Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with small modifications from Intex.

Coming to the processor, the Intex Cloud Scan FP comes with a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor and ARM Mali-400 MP GPU. The phone comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. You get an option to expand the internal storage by another 32 GB using a microSD card.

Talking about the cameras, you get a 5 MP camera on the rear along with an LED flash. The front also houses a 5 MP camera for selfies and video calling. Intex has placed the fingerprint sensor just below the camera on the back.


Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM Radio and GPS. The phone is powered by a 2450 mAh battery. 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port.

Pricing and Availability

The Intex Cloud Scan FP is priced at Rs. 3,999, making it the cheapest smartphone to come with a fingerprint sensor. It is a Snapdeal-exclusive smartphone and will be available in two colour options – Champagne and Dark Blue.
