Intex Launches Aqua Ace With 3 GB RAM For INR 12,999

If you’re looking for a phone with 3 GB RAM, you may want to check out the Aqua Ace, the latest offering from Intex that is priced at INR 12,999 and intends to give other phones in this category some serious competition!

In addition to being 4G ready, the key feature of the device is of course the 3 GB RAM which is a rarity for this price point and should address most of our computing woes when it comes to our phone’s sluggish performance at times. Powering the Aqua Ace is the Mediatek (MT6735) chipset that brings a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor to handle your multi-tasking requirements. Although the device comes with only 16 GB storage, you can expand it upto 128 GB via microSD.

The rear camera comes with a 13 Megapixel Samsung sensor that is accompanied by a LED flash and the front has a 5 Megapixel camera. Additional features include Gesture capture, HDR, live photo mode, motion track mode, capture while recording, face detection, voice capture, panorama mode, multi-angle view mode and anti-shake camera (in the front camera).

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head at Intex Technologies said, “Intex has been consistently raising the bar for the industry and with Aqua Ace, we have once again taken a leap to the next level with 3 GB RAM, double gorilla glass and a massive memory capacity of up to 128 GB. The Aqua Ace combines the best of everything – sleek looks, sturdy nature, and a breathtaking performance which clearly makes it the best smartphone in sub 15 k segment.”

Intex have been busy over the last few months by adding several new phones to it’s Aqua series, there was the Aqua Glam that was designed for women and the powerhouse Aqua Power II that came with a huge 4000 mAh battery. With such well-received phones out in the market already, Intex is bent on capturing a big slice of the Indian mobile market and the Aqua Ace might just help it get there.
