Dual SIM Moto E Launching on May 13 Tipped to Cost 8,999 INR

Motorola is relishing enough success and sales in the emerging markets with its Moto G. The vendor is gossiped to be prepping yet another affordable phone – Moto E and while there is no confirmation of the existence of the phone, at the May 13 launch event the company is rumored to unleash this new budget smartphone.

While there is a week’s time for the alleged Moto E to be launched officially, Twitter based leakster @LeakserInc has revealed the details pertaining to the availability of the handset. As per the leaked information, Moto E will be made available exclusively on e-commerce portal Flipkart for a price of Rs 8,999. Well, it is not surprising for Motorola to announce the phone in partnership with Flipkart as it happened even in the case of Moto G.

This new twitter leakster popped up on the headlines last week for revealing the press images of forthcoming Micromax 4G LTE smartphone powered by Nvidia Tegra 4i chipset.

Besides the pricing, the source reveals even some of the key specs of the handset and the tweet reads, “Motorola Moto E = XT1022. Dual SIM, 4 GB, 4.3″ qHD, 5 MP. Price= Rs. 8999. Available thru only Flipkart in White.” This hints that the Moto E carries the model number XT1022 and that it will be a dual SIM phone boasting 4 GB of internal storage, 4.3 inch qHD display and a 5 MP primary camera.

Previous reports hint that the Moto E will feature a 1,900 mAh battery and a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon chipset under its hood. It is also claimed to include 1 GB of RAM to handle the multi-tasking department along with the processor.
