Panasoni Eluga I3 with 4G VoLTE Launched at Rs. 9,290

Panasonic India Pvt Ltd, a leader in innovation and technology has launched, Eluga I3, a new Phablet in its much popular Eluga-series. The phone is priced at Rs. 9,290 and the highlight feature of the phone is its 4G VoLTE support. With Panasonic Eluga I2 already available in the market, it would be interesting to see how the market respond to the new Eluga I3. Let us take a look at the key specifications of the device.

Panasonic Eluga I3 has a 5.5 inch HD IPS touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor. It has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB with a microSD card, Operating system is Android 5.1 Lollipop coupled with Panasonic Fit Home UI on top.

Talking about the camera, it is powered with 5 MP camera on the front and 13 MP rear camera with LED flash. Connectivity options include 4G Volte,3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS,  Bluetooth, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Wifi Direct and Micro-USB. Sensors in Panasonic ELUGA I3 include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

This dual SIM smartphone supports 4G on one SIM at a time and is backed by a 2700 mAh removable battery with optimized power management software. It weighs around 189 grams, its dimensions are 151x77x8.20mm. The price of this device is fixed at Rs. 9,290. The phone will be available in just 3 colors namely Champagne Gold, Rose Gold & marine Blue.


Addressing his views on the launch, Business Head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India namely Pankaj Rana recently said, “With the launch of ELUGA I3, we believe we will surely address some major consumer concerns by providing them with a better viewing experience and more productivity on-the- go.” –  This comment seriously predicts about the high grade performance from this device in the near future by creating a great market of its own.
