Samsung Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus Prices Leaked, Could Start At Rs. 63,500

We all know that Samsung is gearing up for its next flagship, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. The smartphone is going to be launched on March 29. The expected specifications are already out and now the colour variants and prices are released.

One of the Ukrainian retailers has listed Galaxy S8 (SM-G950) in Black, Gold and Orchid Gray colour options. The Galaxy S8 Plus colour variants includes the same options. Considering the prices, the Galaxy S8 is listed at $950 (Rs. 63,650 approx) while the Galaxy S8 Plus is tagged at $1050 (Rs. 70,350 approx).

The Galaxy S8 will be equipped with a 5.8-inch screen while the S8 Plus will feature 6.2-inch QHD AMOLED display. Powering the phones will be Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos processor. This will be further coupled to a 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The storage will be expandable via microSD.

A fingerprint sensor, iris scanner are some of the highlighting features while the phones will be running on Android Nougat 7.0. For imaging, a 12-megapixel with f/1.7 camera is equipped at the rear while the front features an 8-megapixel with f/1.7 camera.


The phones will also feature 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, and will be water resistant. The Galaxy S8 will be fueled by a 3000mAh battery pack while a 3500mAh battery will be powering the Galaxy S8 Plus.

Pricing And Availability

If the leaked prices are anything to go by, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are not going to be cheap. The leak lists the Galaxy S8 at $950 while the Galaxy S8 Plus is listed at $1050. Both the new flagships from Samsung will come in Black, Gold and Orchid Gray colour options. We should know more about the availability details at launch.
