WiiO WI5, an octa core smartphone has been spotted on e-commerce portal eBay India with a price tag of Rs 9,990. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and uses the same old MediaTek True Octa Core MT6592M processor. The WiiO WI5 adds to the already existing low cost octa core smartphones and will surely provide a stiff competition with its affordable price tag.
Detailing on the specifications, the WiiO WI5 is fitted with a 5 inch IPS display with a HD screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by the aforementioned MediaTek MT6592M chipset clocked at 1.7 GHz. This processor is paired with 2 GB of RAM and Mali 450 MP graphics unit.
There is 16 GB of internal storage capacity that can be extended externally by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. The imaging hardware of the WiiO WI5 comprises a 13 MP primary snapper with auto focus and a 5 MP front facer for selfies and video conferencing.
