Camera and Internal Storage

The Lenovo S930 sports an 8 MP primary camera on the rear with auto focus and LED flash. The camera also comes with some exciting features such as HDR shooting mode. There is also a front-facing 1.6 MP camera on the handset that is acceptable for decent video calling and for capturing quality selfies. If you are aiming for a higher mega pixel count for more detailed images, you could do better considering the price.

The device comes with an inbuilt storage capacity of 8 GB, which will be used by the operating system and other default software. However, who feel this is too less to store their content such as files, photos and videos can always expand this capacity by using a micro SD card and the maximum limit for the same is 32 GB.

Processor and Battery

The Lenovo S930 comes with a MediaTek MT5482 chipset that comprises of a 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor and Mali 400MP2 graphics unit. Accompanying this qua-core processor is 1 GB of RAM that takes charge of the multi-tasking responsibility.

A juicy 3,000 mAh battery is available in the Lenovo S930 to handle the power requirements of the gigantic 6 inch display and the quad-core processor. Though the backup offered by this battery is not known, Lenovo phones are always acclaimed for their superior battery backup and hence we can expect it to last for a day even on intense usage.

Display and Features

The device flaunts a 6 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display with boasts HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels. This translates to a moderate pixel density of 245 pixels per inch. While the 6 inch display is pleasing, the low pixel density will definitely provide with reduced sharpness.

The Lenovo S930 comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out-of-the-box, but the company has assured that the handset can be upgraded to v4.4 KitKat. Also, the device has dual SIM with dual standby feature like any other mid-range smartphone. Meeting the connectivity requirements of the users are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, 3G and micro USB features.

Some of the direct challengers of the Lenovo S930 would be Micromax Canvas XL, HP Slate 6, Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and HTC Desire 816.
