Micromax has finally announced the new A116 Canvas HD which is a successor to Micromax a110 which was the previous recent model in the same series from micromax. Canvas HD comes with a 5 inch capacitive touch screen with android 4.1 jelly bean which makes it the first device in this series from micromax to run jelly bean.
It comes with a 1.2 Ghz quad processor and its has 2100 mAh battery which was 2000 mAh in the earlier version of canvas that was A110.
Its comes with 4 Gb of internal storage of 4gb which is expandable upto 32 Gb with a micro SD memory card, and the memory card does not come with in the package you will need to buy it separately. You get 1280×720 HD resolution with HP IPS display with a color depth of 16 million colors. It has M!store, M!buddy and other apps preloaded on it. The processor is based on cortex A7 SOC architecture. It is going to available from first week of Feb 2013. It has 8Mp camera with face beautifier and with auto focus and a LED flash to take the low light photos.
