This New device from Karbonn seems to be a combination of A3 and A6 and no much innovation added to the device. It Got a same 1 GHz Single Core Processor like A3 and A6 and have inherited most of its feature from A3 like 3 MP with video recording, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and a battery of 1400mAh. But it has got a wider display option as compare to A3, same as Karbon A6 i.e. 4 inch with capacitive touch screen and resolution is 480×320 pixels. Camera is featured with 3.2 MP but result is not so good though it has got the Face detection option. The VGA camera is also provided for the video chat and have few other connectivity option including Bluetooth, and Wifi.

The Improved version of Android was something that we were expecting for this device but the other features at this price looks competitive. The battery of 1400mAh can supports 3 hours of talk time and 225 hours of standby time. With this Android Version there are few other good phones available in market like Micromax Bolt A51 which is available for Rs. 4,599. So the competition between the Indian Giant will be interesting. Also since the A3 and A4 both having same Android version but with different Display size, it will be interesting to see which display size the user will prefer.
