Gionee which is known popular china based phone manufacturer which has recently arrived in Indian market and with the arrival has launched various mobile phones including Gionee Dream D1 and G1 GPad earlier with some unique and good specifications. The Chinese Mobile phone manufacturer, has recently announced the launch of the Gionee Gpad G1 phablet for the Indian market a couple of weeks back and now the company is ready with another phablet to launch the successor of this device which is expected to be launched in the next month. This device is named as Gionee Gpad G2, and name itself clearly shows that the device is launched as the successor of Gpad G1.
Gionee will become the another company entering in the race of low budget Quad core device. After the success of Micromax A116 Canvas HD’s in the Indian market, we have seen almost all Chinese and Indian mobile manufacturer has tried to produce a Quad core device and give a good competition to Micromax’s device. We have several Quad core device available in the market having the price tag between Rs.10000 to Rs.15,000 like Zen Ultraphone 701 HD, spice’s recent launch Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535, Acer Liquid E2 which might not come to India, Videocon A47 and the Zync Quad 10.1 which will be coming with attractive 10.1 inch display so the competition is already on the verge and have to see how Gionee can perform in this market competition.

Conclusion:
The Gionee Gpad G2 looks good from the technical specs but as there are few device already exist with some similar and few improved specs and hence the competition will be tough for this brand in the Indian market. The Gionee GPad G2 specifications are quite good but have to wait for the price tag to conclude if the device is worth as the price in India has not yet been officially declared. It is expected to be priced around Rs.14000 and so having few Quad core processor powered device already available in the market in this price range and few having a really big good feature like display upto attractive 10.1 inch display, the Gionee may need to struggle a bit.
The Gionee GPad G2 comes in Grey and White colors, bundled with a 16GB Memory card along and a stylish Navigation Flip leather case and Screen Guard. It would be available across India by the first week of May 2013 and the price of the phone would be revealed closer to the launch.
