Lenovo the Indian leader in the Laptop market had launched a low cost budget tablet in the Indian market. The IdeaTab A2107 is packed with the number of features, it is an 7.0 inch tablet with AMOLED display that comes with the resolution of about 600 x 1024 pixel. Lenovo had previously launched A2109 which was somewhat lesser in the features as compared to this tablet. This tablet comes with the Dual Sim capability so that user can have two active numbers at the same time and runs on the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
On the hardware side it comes with the 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor, that helps the device to support various applications and lets them to run nicely and also with greater speed. It also has the PowerVR SGX531 Graphics Processing Unit for better graphics quality and also the greater experience. Also the device comes with the 1GB of RAM for better multi tasking of the apps. On the memory side it comes with the 16GB of internal memory, that can be expanded upto the 32 GB via the Micro SD card. Also the IdeaTab comes with the Dual Camera, Primary camera of 3.15 MP that helps in capturing the greater pictures and also it has the front facing Secondary VGA camera that supports the Video Calling.
For connectivity options it has the 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0 and also support to the USB. 3G allows the user to access the internet with the greater speed. Also the Wi-Fi hotspot allows the user to use the tablet as the center device for transmitting the internet to the number of devices. And Bluetooth 3.0 has the greater data transfer rate as compared to the previous versions. Also the IdeaTab comes with the 3550 mAh Li-ion battery, that gives very good output over the single charge.
Also the build quality of the tablet is very good as compared to the A2109 which lack the certain key features. Also this device comes with Matte finish on the backside of the device that makes the device better for the users that handles the devices roughly. Lenovo had tried its best to add all of the features in this device and it seems that they had succeeded in doing it, tablet comes with the Dual Sim support, 3G, larger battery size for better backup. Also it has the good internal memory for the user. Though the earlier version of the Android is not so happening and must have an option of upgrading it to the newer version.The price tag of Rs.14,000 seems to be the reasonable price tag for the good device.
