In the recent JiaYu meet up event held in China, apart from the G4, it was the G6 which got the attention of many out there. It is going to be JiaYu’s first 5+ inch device, their entry into the phablet market. Although there is no official word from JiaYu as of now regarding the configuration of the device.
Screen: 5.7” Multi touch IPS LCD display with full HD resolution, RAM: 2GB, ROM: 32GB and it will run android version: 4.2 Jelly Bean, Battery: 5000mAh which will be huge and should be sufficient enough for the 5.7 display and by the looks of the device it looks like a non-removable one but we cant confirm it as if now. The processor is Mediatek MT6589, 4 core Cortex A7 and it will have 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
This looks like a smart move by JiaYu, keeping in mind the current demands from consumers all around the world. People are now opting for bigger displays, and JiaYu would hope to make this move count. Another wise thing they have done is the inclusion of a big 5000mAh battery, which should have enough juice to keep the phablet running for a long time.
The price is said to be under USD 300 which means this will be one of the cheapest full HD phablets in the market when it comes. Production should start in May, and we hope to see the device in consumers hands by mid-June.
