When talking of connectivity, the tablet features Bluetooth and WiFi radios, which should be good enough for most users. The device has 2 cameras – namely a 2MP rear for casual photography and a VGA front for video calling. The tablet will be powered by a 3000mAh battery which should be able to keep the device up for a few handful hours. The 7 inch screen will have a resolution of 800×480 which is surprisingly low for a tablet. As mentioned, the tablet will have support for voice calling as well.

On the software front, the tablet comes bundled with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a few pre-installed apps, namely the Olive Office Premium and Ebook Reader. The Swipe Halo Speed also comes with support for Flash 11.1 built-in.

The Swipe Halo Speed tab is said to be the successor of the previously launched Swip Halo Value tab, and it has been bumped up in almost every aspect. The Swipe Halo Value was launched back in March for the same price, and had weaker hardware. The Halo Value came with only 512MB RAM, and boasted of the same processor. The Halo Value also had voice calling capabilities, thanks to the 2G network supported by it.
