Processor and Battery:

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is powered by 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 (Cortex-A15) whereas Note II is featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 Ghz. So though the Note II has the processor which has been clocked at the lower frequency but the number of cores on this processor are more and thus this makes it more powerful than the Dual Core processor clocked at higher frequency in case of Galaxy Note II.

The processor of Mega 6.3 will get the support of 1.5GB RAM and Mali-T604 GPU where as the processor of Note II is having the support of 2GB RAM. So it is pretty clear that you can expect a good performance from galaxy 6.3 but not better than Note II.

Coming to the battery the Mega 6.3 got the battery power of 3200mAh which is slightly greater than Galaxy Note II’s 3100 mAh. But as Mega 6.3 has a big display and Note II operates on quad core processor the expected time with the battery is almost same for both the device.

Connectivity and Features

Connectivity features on both these devices are more or less identical, with both devices having dual-band WiFi, WiFi direct, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, 3G, and USB. The Mega 6.3 has support for USB OTG (On The Go) and MHL as well, which means you can hook up your USB and HDMI devices to the phone any time.

Both the device share the same camera resolution as well. They sport 8MP of main camera featured with LED flash rear and got a secondary 1.9MP front camera enabling you to make the video calls.

If we check the Operating System running on this device then we can see that there is a minute difference between the Android version. The Mega 6.3 has got the latest Android 4.2(Jelly bean) where as the Note II runs on a bit old version of Android which is Android 4.1(jelly bean) (but we may see the upgrade for Android 4.2 coming in next few days)
