HTC Desire 200 Coming Soon To India

HTC has now come with the new Smartphone, Desire 200, to compete in the ever growing Entry level Market. This segment competes with the Smartphone’s that have price tag less but contains maximum features of the flagship products. Desire 200, has been seen Online even before it has been launched in the market.

Desire 200 specifications have also been available, and it seems that it contains maximum features that are expected from the budget phones. It can be seen as the competition to the Samsung’s Rex Series and Nokia’s Asha Series. Also Desire 200 has been first spotted on the Vietnamese website.

HTC Desire 200 comes with the 1 GHz processor and as per the recent market trend it is “must have” feature for the entry level segment to help the device to work more smoothly and lets the bigger applications to cope up with the phone. It comes with the 512MB of RAM, which seems to be enough for the device. On the memory front, it comes with the 4GB of internal storage that can be extended to upto 32GB via the Micro SD Card support.

The device sports 3.5 inch LCD screen with the resolution of about 320 x 480 pixels. It seems to be running on the Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich Operating System, but can be expected to have update before its launch to the market. It will feature HTC’s Sense UI layer on top.


The device is also featured with the 5 megapixel of primary camera, but it lacks the front camera. Also for the connectivity options it comes with the 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It has the 1400 mAh battery that seems to be alright for this sized Smartphone. It will also feature the Beats Audio Symbol at the back, which is seemed on the majority phones of the HTC.

From the given things we can expect it to be a budget phone which will be not high on the pockets of the customers. 1400 mAh battery seems to be okay and can be expected to be in working for more than 18 hrs after a single charging which is not so bad. The device is Spotted by Vietnamese website, Thegioididong, and hence we are expecting the device to be launched soon and to get available on Indian Online portals including FlipKart.
