Karbonn Titanium S6 Reportedly To Be Launched In July

As the title suggests, Karbonn Mobiles is reportedly in the works to launch their next offering in the Titanium series of phones. The new entrant is reportedly called the S6, and should be launched in the Indian market by next month.

The phone is touted to come packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 13 megapixel rear camera. Although there is no official word from Karbonn as yet, but speculations going around suggest that the phone will come with Android 4.2 right out of the box, and that the Snapdragon processor will be a quad-core variant.

Apart from that, the phone is also said to have support for stylus. There is no word on the screen size yet, but again, speculations say that the phone will sport a 5 inch screen, which might carry a full HD resolution.

Mr. Pradeep Jain, the Managing Director said to our source, “Our aim at Karbonn is not to provide the cheapest smartphone is the category but a quality product in the market. We have done that with our past products and we will continue to do the same with Titanium S6,”

Again, there is no official word on the pricing yet, but we expect the phone to cost under the 20,000 INR mark. Karbonn at the moment offers the S1 and S5 in the Titanium range of phones, and the S6 will further populate this series. The S1 comes with a 4.5 inch qHD screen, while the S5 comes with a 5 inch one. Both the phones come with quad core processors.

There is no official launch date as of yet, but it is expected that the S6 will be launched by the second week of July. The S6 will make the competition among domestic manufacturers very interesting, since Karbonn have gone one level up with a Snapdragon processor, giving Mediatek a miss.
