German based company sennheiser electronics India pvt. Ltd. Which specializes in headphone manufacturing Has joined hands with sports giant Adidas to provide Indian users with premium quality headphones, targeted at athletes and durable during extreme workout conditions. For now they have released five headphone models which will be available in Indian market from September onwards.
Sound level of these headphones has been enhanced for them to suit workout conditions and due care has been taken regarding comfort during extreme workout and training conditions. They have even provided three of the models compatible with apple iPod and iPhone via apple remote and microphone module.
Great emphasize has been laid on extreme training conditions. The headphones are made of durable material enabling them to resist abuse even in extreme conditions. Same is true for their strong Para-aramid reinforced cable. The earphones have been tested on athletes and so designed that they are immune to damage from water and sweat and can be rinsed under water after usage.
Five different head phones have been equipped with different style of wearing them and you can choose from whatever suits your workout conditions and your comfort best. PMX 685i with a behind-the neck style are designed for runners and come with a 3.5 mm jack and won’t budge no matter what speed you run at. It weighs a meager 20 gram which is quite less. PX685I is newest in this series and is also designed for runners and comes with foam ear pads and secure adjustable headband. MX 685 are even more flexible with slide to fit system and it has a in ear-fit style. All of the above three have been designed for outdoor training as they don’t attenuate surrounding noise much because of safety reasons.
OCX 685i and CX 685 are designed for indoor workout and are positioned in your ear so as to attenuate outside noise. OCX 685i is available in black and White and weighs only 16 grams which is astonishingly light. CX 685 comes with a slide to fit feature similar to MX 685.
All these headphones are designed to give you wonderful training experience and will be available in India September onwards at all major consumer electronics stores, music stores, sennheiser sales partner stores and Adidas stores.
