The L4 II Dual consists of the phones that are on the cheaper side and includes most of the essential features for the Entry level buyers. Now we will see the Quick review, features and the specifications that the phone offers to the Customer’s.

Camera and Internal Storage

This phone comes with only single camera option so this seems to be a setback for the device. It comes with the 3.0 MP primary camera with LED flash at the rear side, so this is very less when we compare it to the other devices in the given Price range. As it was expected on the higher side and will disappoint most of the buyers. There is no secondary camera present in this device which is nowadays present in almost al of the devices. Also no secondary camera means user will not be able to do the video calling from this device. So the camera section on this device seems to be on the lower side.

The Optimus L4 II Dual comes with the 4GB of Internal memory that is expandable upto 32GB via Micro SD card. The internal memory seems to be a decent one and has the option of the Micro SD card so the users will never run short of the memory. Though the other device in this range mostly comes with the greater internal memory, also as certain memory will be occupied by the OS there will be lesser memory that will be available for the user.

Processor and Battery

Optimus L4 II Dual is powered by 1 GHz single core MediaTek MT6575 processor, which is on the lower side and most of the other devices in this segment offers a dual core or a quad core processor. The single core processor often seems to be slow when the larger apps or operations are performed on the device. The processor is supported by the 512MB of RAM. The processor and the RAM of the device are both on the lower side as compared to the other devices in this series.

Optimus L4 II Dual comes with the 1700 mAh battery that seems to be a decent one because the phone comes with the relatively smaller display of about 3.8 inch and lesser screen resolution. The battery seems to last for a day after a single charge for a normal user, and for the heavy user it can last for more than 16 hours. So the battery is a better one and all the other devices also comes with the same battery size.

Display Size and Features

This device sports 3.8-inch capacitive touch screen IPS display, so the display size seems to be a smaller one as larger display was expected. It comes with the Screen resolution of about 320 x 480 pixels which was probable as the screen is smaller one, and gives pixel density of 152 ppi which is very low. The images and the games on the device does not seems to be crystal clear as the resolution of the device is not so good. The HD games and videos seems to be scattered on this phone.

On to the features Optimus L4 II Dual again does not packs any special feature, for the connectivity options it comes with the 3G,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth3.0 and GPS. The  L4 II Dual runs on the Android v4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. As specified it is a Dual SIM capability with dual standby so the users can use both the SIM at the same time. Also it has the dedicated SIM switch key that is similar to the other devices in this series.

Comparison

When it comes to the comparison, the device seems to be competing with the devices that fall below the Rs.10,000 range. The device competes with the Samsung Galaxy Ace and Sony Xperia E and Canvas 2. Though the device has the hardware that are mostly on the lower side, the device seems to be lagging behind most of the device sin the range.

 Conclusion

At the end we can simply state that this phone seems to be on the lower side for most of the hardware specifications. It has only 3MP camera without the secondary camera, smaller screen, lesser RAM size, Single Core processor. LG could have upgraded the hardware capacity of the phone before launching to the Indian market where number of options are present for the buyers. And the phone comes in only two colors that is Black and White. This phone does not seem to be suitable for the users who likes to play the HD games or movies. Phone comes with the decent battery size and most of the basic features. Also has the Dual SIM option for the users. The LG Optimus L4 II Dual comes at the price tag of Rs. 9,850.
