The phone was actually launched a few months back, in April to be precise. However, the phone was not in stocks until now.

The smartphone comes with a 5.3 inch screen which sports an HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels. This is the same resolution we saw on the Micromax Canvas HD, but on a smaller (5 inch) screen. As is the case with most domestic and Chinese manufacturers, the phone comes with a processor from Mediatek, the MT6589. This processor comes with 4 cores, based on the Cortex A7 platform, all of which are clocked at a frequency of 1.2 GHz.

The phone comes with other standard features like GPRS, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, FM radio, WiFi, etc. Since all these features will require some power, the phone comes with a battery rated 2250mAh, which is claimed give 25hrs of backup on 2G (talktime), and 12hrs on 3G. As seen on most other phones based on the Mediatek platform, the S920 also comes with dual SIM support.
