Karbonn A27+ With 5 Inch Display Launched at Rs. 8,999

Yet another Karbonn phone is now available for purchase. Yesterday we covered release of karbonn A50 and today another phone from Karbonn, karbonn A27 + turned up with a price tag of RS 8,999. This phone seems to be the enhanced version of Karbonn A27 which was released earlier this year at almost the same price of 8970 INR. Let’s see what additional features come with the Plus tag on this device.

This dual SIM smartphone comes with a 5 inch capacitive touch screen display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. This will give you a pixel density of about 220 ppi which is an above average display at this price range. The display has been enhanced as compared to Karbonn A27 which has a 4.3 inch screen size.

Karbonn A27+ is powered by a 1GHZ dual core processor similar to its predecessor. The manufacturing company of the processor is not yet specified. RAM specifications are also same at 512MB. This phone comes with a 4 GB ROM expendable up to 32 GB using a microSD card. Operating system used is Android jelly bean 4.1.2

Like processor and memory features camera features are also similar to Karbonn A27. This phone comes with an 8 MP camera which is standard in this price range along with a front camera for video calling. LED flash is also present for low light photography.

Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, 3G, 2G,GPS, Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Battery capacity has also been enhanced to 2000 mAh from 1800 mAh so that your backup doesn’t suffer with increased screen size. This battery will give you up to 7 hrs talk time on 2G and up to 4 hrs on 3G.(similar to A27)

So basically with the plus version Karbonn has enhanced the Screen size from 4.3 inch to 5 inch. Those looking for competition can consider Micromax A92 Canvas Lite, although Karbonn A 27+ outperforms atleast on paper in terms of specifications. Karbonn A 27 + is available on Flipkart at a price of 8,999 INR.
