Swipe MTV Slash Fablet with 7 Inch Display at Rs. 9,490

Swipe MTV slash calling tablet, with 7 inch display is yet another device from Swipe telecommunications, in association with MTV, and is now available in Indian market for Rs. 9490. Swipe MTV Volt 1000 was the last phablet we saw from this group which was priced slightly higher and had a 6 inch display. Let’s take a look at what swipe is offering this time around.

This device has a 7 inch capacitive 5 point multi touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels which will give you pixel density of 170 ppi, which is better than budget tablets but not an above average display at this price range.

This device is powered by dual core processor clocked at a frequency of 1GHz. RAM capacity is 1GB and the internal storage is 4 GB which can be further extended to 32 GB using microSD card.  Operating system used in this fablet is Android 4.1.2 jelly bean

This tablet has a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a secondary front facing camera of 0.3 MP. Camera features of this device are quite moderate. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi, and 3.5 mm audio jack. This 9 mm thick tablet weighs 290 grams which is significantly heavy. The battery capacity of this device is 3000 mAh which is disappointing as well.

Overall swipe MTV Slash has no particularly venerable feature and most specifications match budget tablets below the range of 6000. They pricing is less than predecessor phablets like Swipe MTV Volt 1000 and with good reason. This will suffice for your general purpose usage. You can get Swipe MTV Slash from Snapdeal for 9490 INR.
