Huawei Ascend D2 is powered by Huawei homemade K3V2 processor, which is a quad core processor clocked at a frequency of 1.5 GHz. This processor by Huawei is not at par in performance with the Qualcomm snapdragon 600 counterparts but backed by a 2 GB RAM this phone won’t give you any reason to complain and will ensure lag free gaming. The internal storage capacity is 32 GB which cannot be extended any further.

This display is a 5 Inch IPS LCD with Full HD resolution of 1080p giving you a pixel density of 441 ppi which is as good as it gets (regarding the pixel density). You won’t see any resolved pixels. It sports a 13 MP AF primary camera capable of Full HD video recording and a 1.3 MP secondary camera with 720p video recording at 30fps. The battery capacity is 3000 mAh which should easily carry you through the day. This phone is expected to be priced around 25 thousand and will competes with the likes of Sony Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy S3.

Huawei Ascend W1 on the other hand features a smaller 4 inch IPS LCD display with WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. This multi touch screen (up to 4 fingers) will give you a pixel density of 233 ppi. This is not bad for this screen size. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon Dual core Processor clocked at a frequency of 1.2 GHz. the RAM capacity is 512 MB and the internal storage memory is standard 4 GB which can be further extended to 32 GB.

It comes with a 5 MP auto focus primary camera capable of 720p HD video recording at 30 fps. A secondary VGA camera is also available for video calling. The battery capacity is 1950 mAh which will give you 10 and half hours of talk time on 3G. This phone is expected to be priced below 10, 000 INR and compete with Nokia Lumia 520.

We are expecting another phone from Huawei, Huawei Ascend P6 (worlds slimmest phone) to be launched in India later this month. So we don’t expect these two phones to show up at least till later next month. The listing of Huawei Ascend D2 and Huawei Ascend w1 on Huawei India website does indicates that they will be here sooner or later.
