Intex Aqua i 4 and Intex Cloud Y5 with Dual Core at Rs. 6,190 and Rs. 9,490

Intex has silently launched yet two another phones, Intex Aqua I-4 and Cloud Y5 for Indian Market. Intex had recently launched Intex Cloud Y2 and Cloud X4. Earlier this month Intex had launched Intex Cloud X3. Consistently moving up its pricing, Intex Cloud Y5 has been priced at Rs. 6,190, Whereas, Intex Aqua i4 has been priced at Rs. 9,490.

Intex Cloud Y5 features a 4.5 Inch Display which is FWVGA 854 x 480 pixel resolution which amounts to a pixel density of 218 ppi. This is above average quality display in this price range. The device comes with Android 4.0 ICS Operating System.

It is powered by a 1 GHz Dual core processor which is standard in this price range. The RAM capacity has not yet been specified yet but it is expected to be around 512 MB. It comes with 8 MP primary camera and a front camera of 1.3 MP. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspots Bluetooth, USB, HSDPA, HSUPA , EDGE , GPRS and WAP.

Intex Aqua i-4 is a little lies in the upper budget range and It features almost similar hardware specifications compared to Cloud Y5. It comes with a larger 5 Inch display whose resolution has not been specified, the operating System has also been enhanced to Android 4.2 Jelly bean.


Intex Aqua i-4 is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor which is slightly less at this price range, considering you can get Quad core devices like XOLO Q700 at this price range. The RAM capacity and internal memory has not been specified yet. The primary camera is of 8 MP and the secondary camera and comes with LED flash; front camera of 1.3 MP is also present for video calling. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, HSDPA, HSUPA , EDGE and GPRS

Intex has not yet released key specifications like Memory capacity and battery backup. While Intex Cloud Y5 offers good value for money, same can’t be said for Intex Aqua i4. Those looking for options can check Videocon A42, Spice Stellar Glamour Mi-436, Videocon A52 and Micromax A88 Canvas Music.
