Nokia HERE Auto Cloud Based Navigation App for With Offline Navigation Support Launched

Nokia has revealed their navigation App HERE auto which is a cloud based navigation app which comes with three other features, HERE Auto Cloud, HERE Auto Companion and HERE Auto Traffic. It comes with interesting features like Voice guided turn by turn navigation, traffic rerouting, street level images, parking availability and indoor maps.

HERE Auto even supports offline and can even assist you in areas with weak or no network coverage. You will receive small continuous OTA map updates for maps provided by HERE Auto Cloud. HERE Auto promises right map at the right time. You will get a helicopter view when you’re driving on a highway, a zoomed-in view when you’re in the city and street level images when you’re approaching the destination.

HERE Auto Companion allows you to remote control your car. This App for windows and Android systems, can help you find where you parked your car and stay in touch with all the sensors in your vehicle such as the fuel level and tire pressure. You could also monitor Air conditioning and tire pressure.

Recently Tom Tom brought an offline navigation app to India. Also NNG launched ANS navigator in India recently. All this implies a definite demand for navigation tools in India. This app will be showcased at Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) on September 10th. Various car makers are expected to sync their cars with this App to provide you with what Nokia states as “Connected car”. This App will be available across 95 countries including India for Android and Windows Phone based devices.
