Sony CP-F5 and CP-F10L portable chargers at Rs 2790 and Rs. 4990

Sony India has today launched two new portable chargers in India, CP-F5 and CP-F10L, priced at Rs. 2790 and Rs.4,990 respectively. Both these chargers are quite sleek and stylish k aluminium body and claim to solve all your battery troubles. . The battery in both these portable chargers is based on Li- ion Polymer technology by Sony and will retain 90 % of its capacity even after 1000 charge cycles

The CP-F5 comes with a 5000 mAh battery capacity which is massive and can easily support you for a couple of days with moderate usage. This battery bank weighs 156 grams, with dimensions of 70.4 X 128.1 X 9.4, and thus will be easier to carry with you,(though not in your pocket). The charging time is 6 Hrs on AC adapter, but you will have to buy that separately. If you want to charge it through USB port it will take around 11 hours to fully charge this device. This portable charger is available in Black, blue and golden color and is priced at 2,790 INR.

The CP-F10L comes with a massive capacity of 10,000 mAh on which you can charge your smartphone or tablet for up to 4 times. It has high out of 3.6 A and thus can be used to charger two devices simultaneously. The dimensions are 70.4 X 130.6 X 16.5 mm and it weighs 260 grams which is quite heavy. The charge time is 7 hrs on AC Adapter and Approx 23 hours on USB port. This portable charger will cost you 4,990 INR, without the AC adaptor, which you will need if you need to use this bank on a regular basis.

Battery banks are more of a necessity these days. To avail full advantage of your bright high ppi display and those quad core processors, you need to have a back up. Today when most tier one manufacturers, like HTC, Sony and Apple are opting for Unibody designs, demand for long lasting battery tech will only increase. Both these portable chargers will be available by the end of this month on all major retail stores.
