Spice mobiles has silently launched the upgraded version of its Spice Stellar Virtuoso Mi-491, dubbed as Spice Stellar Virtuoso pro + Mi-492. This phone has been priced at Rs. 7,499 Let’s take a look at what new you will get for the extra 500 bucks in this upgraded version.
This phone comes with a 4.5 Inch Display with 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA resolution. This gives you pixel density of 217 ppi which is above average at this price range. As far as the display features are concerned nothing has been changed in this newer version
This processor however has been upgraded to 1.3 GHz Dual core processor from the previous 1 GHz processor. The RAM capacity is 512 MB which is standard at this price range. The internal storage is 4 GB out of which around 2 GB will be available at the users end. You can further extend this to 32 GB using MicroSD card. You will also get 2 GB of cloud storage free with this smartphone.
The Primary Autofocus camera sports a 5 MP sensor and a front 1.3 MP camera is also present in this device for video calling. The camera features also remain same as the previous version of this smartphone. On the software end the Operating system has been upgraded to Android 4.2 Jelly bean.
The battery capacity has been increased to 1730 mAh from 1700 mAh. This slight increase won’t be that conspicuous. The connectivity features include 3G, GPRS, EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS.
Over all Spice has launched this phone with slightly upgraded processor and O.s. The difference wont be much but it is something. This phone will compete against recently launched phones like XOLO A500S, Micromax Canvas Fun A76 and Micromax Canvas Fun A74.
