Sony SNC-CX600W and SNC-CX600 HD security cameras at Rs. 50,000

Sony today launched two new security cameras, SNC-CX600W and SNC-CX600 in India priced at 50,000 INR. Both these cams are capable of High definition video recording and also deliver wide viewing angles which are a pre-requisite in effective security cameras. SNC-CX600W supports Wi-Fi thus aiding easy network security settings with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) standard

These cameras are simple to install and meant for general populace and big enterprises alike who can enhance respective security measures by using these extra eyes. These cameras use Sony’s original IPELA ENGINE EX unique integrated signal processing system which enables high resolution capture even under low lighting conditions.

Sony claims that these cameras will cover a full 120 degrees which is around 50% more than other conventional security cameras. Besides this wide coverage lens, this camera also features LED illumination for clear recording.

The motion sensor present in these cameras can detect break ins and the camera then responds by switching on wide-angle LED illumination, playing out an alert and a pre-recorded voice message, sending an email notification to a pre-registered address of the user’s smartphone, and making still and moving images available for viewing through an internet browser.

The times we live in warrant for enhanced security measures and the security cameras which can be self installed will definitely find acceptability in Indian market. These cameras don’t require space for recorder as they are equipped with microSD card and SDHC card storage. This further helps in minimizing space requirements and also in easy installation. Both of these cameras will be available through authorized dealers and distributors across India. The SNC-CX600W will be available by 1st October next month and SNC-CX600 Will arrive later on January 2014.
