Sony Xperia M comes with a 4 Inch Display with WVGA 480 X 800 pixel resolution. The display is strictly average at this price range. Many domestic manufactures like Lava and Micromax will offer you HD displays at this price range.

This phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 plus MSM8227 Dual core processor clocked at a frequency of 1 GHz and assisted by Adreno 305 GPU. The RAM backing up this chipset is 1 GB and this is most you can expect at this price range. The internal storage memory is 4GB and can be further extended to 32 GB using a microSD card.

The primary camera houses a 5MP sensor which we can expect to outperform other 8 MP cameras from Chinese manufacturers. A front VGA camera is also present for video calling. The operating system employed is Android 4.1 Jelly bean operating system.

The battery capacity is 1750 mAh which will carry you through the day with moderate usage. Connectivity features include GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, NFC, micro USB, 3G, GPS with A-GPS support and Wi-Fi.

This phone garnered enough attention because it offered good value for money. You will have to shell out another 2,000 INR for the extra SIM in this new variant. Various other options from lesser brands like Lava Iris 504q, wammy passion Z+ and Videocon A55 HD will make a dent in its sales. You can buy Sony Xperia M dual SIM from Saholic at Rs. 14,990
