Lava has today launched another tablet in its E tab series, named Lava E-tab IVORY and Priced at Rs. 10,199. The tablet is a dual SIM tablet which supports 3G connectivity. This tablet will compete against Micromax’s recently launched Micromax Funbook Mini P410, which also comes with Dual SIM functionality.
This tablet is powered by 1.2 GHz MediaTek dual core processor assisted by PowerVR SGX531 ultra GPU which has a clock frequency of 500 MHz which is quite high. This processor will be assisted by 1 GB of DDR3 RAM and internal storage capacity of 4 GB and is expandable to 32 GB using MicroSD card. Over all this processor and GPU combination will give you good performance.
The Display is 7 inches in size and sports 1024 X 600 pixel resolution which is standard resolution seen in most budget tablets. The operating system used is Android 4.1 Jelly bean which will provide you with rich android experience.
The primary camera is of 2 MP and a secondary VGA camera is also present which will be rarely used for video calling. The tablet is 10.8 mm thick and has a silver metallic finish with white bezel.
The battery capacity is 3000 mAh which is again pretty standard. Lava claims that this will offer you with 5 hrs of running time. Connectivity features include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. The Tab also comes with various useful preloaded apps like Paytm, HD games like NFS HD and Total Recall HD and various social networking Apps like facebook , whatsApp etc.

The tablet will perform well for gaming and video apps, as judged By GPU ticking at 500 MHz. The tablet supports SIM slot and 3G which is a must have for many people. If you are not one of those, then Nexus 7 first edition with Quad core processor is available at the same price. You can also consider tablets like Domo Slate X3G 4th.
