Few days back Panasonic T31 was in the “Coming Soon” list and now Panasonic has officially launched this T series Smartphone after Panasonic T11(Full Review) and Panasonic T21 announced few weeks back. Panasonic T 31 comes with a price tag of 7,990 INR which is only 1500 INR less than the quad core option Panasonic T11.
This phone is powered by 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor whose make has not been specified yet. The RAM capacity backing up this processor is 512 MB out of which 211 MB will be free RAM. The internal storage is 4 GB out of which 1.9 GB will be available at the users end. You can also extend the storage to 32 GB using a microSD card.
The phone comes with a 4 inch WVGA 800 x 480 pixel display similar to Panasonic T11. The pixel density of 233 ppi will be sufficient considering the display size and price range. On the software front this phone comes with Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system.
The primary camera is of 3.2 MP and can only record VGA videos at 30 fps. A front VGA camera is also present for video calling. The camera quality is not up to the mark.
The battery capacity is not something to boast about either. This phone comes with a 1300 mAh battery which is expected to give you talk time of around 4 hours. This phone supports Dual SIM dual standby functionality. This phone is quite thick at 11.95 mm and weighs a moderate 120 grams. Connectivity features include 3G, 3.5 jack stereo audio jack, Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS support.
This phone will come preloaded with Apps like Hungama Music, WeChat and various games. You can download videos and music from Hungama App and you will also get 3 months free subscription of top 8 India Today digital magazines all of which sums up to an amount of Rs. 3000. This phone will compete against phones like Samsung Galaxy Trend, Micromax Canvas Fun A74 and Samsung Galaxy star Pro. The Quad core Panasonic T11 for slightly higher price seems like a better option.
