Intex today launched another budget android phone, Intex Cloud Y4 in India. Intex had earlier launched Cloud Y2 and Cloud Y5 and this phone offers similar specifications at a higher price. Intex is definitely on a launching spree this festival season and also launched Intex Aqua N2 and Cloud X5 last week.
This phone comes with a Smaller 4 inch Display with WVGA resolution with 233 pixels per inches which is comfortably usable display quality considering the screen size. Intex Cloud Y5 priced at 6,190 INR sports a larger 4.5 Inch display with better FWVGA resolution in case you want to go with bigger screen displays.
The phone is powered by 1 GHz Dual core MT6572 processor which we have seen in many recently launched budget android phones. The RAM capacity is expected 512 MB and internal storage is 4 GB out of which 1.27 GB will be available to the users which is little disappointing. You can use external SD card support up to 32 GB
The primary camera is of 5 MP which is the most MT6572 can support. The camera is equipped with LED flash for low light photography. Front camera of 1.3 MP is also present for video calling.
The battery capacity is nothing great at 1400 mAh and connectivity features include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and AGPS. This phone supports dual SIM functionality and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system.
Intex has once again offered a basic phone with few tweaks in the specifications but this device is meant for basic usage only. If you like a bigger display you can go with Intex Cloud Y5 which offers better specifications and costs less.
