Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with Exynos 5 Octa and 8220 mAh at Rs. 49,990

Amidst the excitement of Nokia World where Nokia launched various Asha series devices along with Lumia 1520, 1320 and its 10 inch Lumia 2520, Samsung has launched Note 10.1 in India with a gynormous price tag of Rs. 49,990. The tablet will come with an S-pen and all S-pen features that we have seen in Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

The phone features a 10.1 Inch WQXGA Super Clear LCD display 2560 X 1600 pixel resolution to give you 298 pixels per inches which is pretty fine clarity considering the screen size. This is the maximum resolution that can be supported by Exynos 5 Octa Chipset.

The Indian variant will be powered by Exynos 5 Octa which has 4 cortex A15 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and 4 Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. The RAM capacity is 3 GB which is the maximum you can find out there. The Internal Memory is 32 GB which can be extended further to 64 GB using the MicroSD card.

Primary camera is of 8 MP camera with BSI sensor. A front camera of 2 MP is also present for video calling. Both of these camera’s are capable of Full HD video recording at 60fps and 30fps respectively. The phone runs latest Android 4.3 operating system with Touch WIZ UI on top.

The Battery capacity is pretty awesome at 8220 mAh which matches the backup provided by Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet with 10 hours of backup. Connectivity features include 3G, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS with AGPS support and GLONASS. The tablet comes with stereo speakers and dolby sound enhancement.

The S-pen features like Scrapbook, Action Memo, etc along with Knox Security have made their way to this tablet as well. The tablet comes loaded with features and excellent hardware but is also very expensive.
