Throwing a challenge at the developers with a good price money or involving them in a competition is the best way to get the best applications or a good number of applications for the desired platform and that is the reason why Nokia joined hands with the Vserve to launch a challenge name ‘DVLUP’ worth USD 100,000 for the developers.
Microsoft has always been into attracting large number of developers for their platform because as of now the only thing in which they are lagging behind is the number of applications, which gives the geeky users with a very limited number of applications on their device. Nokia with Vserve is obviously attracting the developers for the Windows Phone 8 OS platform.
The total number of awards offered in this challenge is worth 3.5 crore INR (nearly 580,000 USD) and with this challenge they are also announcing that developers now have the option to monetize their applications with the ads by Vserve.
Vserve also claims to double the monthly earning of the developers who will participate in this challenge by maximizing their revenue by 100 USD (for 1000 developers) and by 1000 USD for multi-app publishers. If you want to be a part of this challenge then you are required to register here and then develop the application for Windows Phone 8 using the Vserve SDK.
