Huawei Ascend Mate launched earlier, garnered enough popularity and was known for the large battery backup it offered to keep that 6 inch display well lit for sufficient amount of time. The company will soon launch Huawei Ascend Mate 2, to carry forward the legacy and ride the success of Huawei Ascend Mate. Here are the leaked specs and pictures of this next Ascend Mate Phablet.

The Display will be 6.1 Inches in size, but the resolution has been increased to 1900 x 1080 pixels full HD. The processor is rumored to be HiSilicon Kirin 910, which has 1.6 GHz quad core processor. The GPU involved is Mali 560 which will improve the performance. The RAM capacity is expected to be same at 2 GB.

The internal storage is rumored to be 16 GB and you will also get microSD card support. On the software front this phone will have Android 4.2 jelly bean with Huawei’s Emotion user interface.

Other specs like Battery capacity and camera specs have not been specified yet. Ascend Mate featured a commendable battery capacity of 4050 mAh and we expect similar back up from the successor Phablet.
