Design and Build

Nokia Lumia 1520 looks great in terms of design however it does not create a very different image, but looks quite sleek in thickness at 8.7 mm, it has  a great OIS capable camera at the back which emerges from the back rear surface. The edges are rounded and the matte finish back cover does give you a great grip in your hand. The is however polycarbonate plastic but like any other lumia phones this one has got very quality of the plastic and does not feel cheap in anyways in finish and it call survive several drops as well.

Camera and Internal Storage

The 20 MP camera at the back is one of the best camera you can get in a lumia phone, it comes with auto focus support with Dual LED flash for low light photos and its also equipped with OIS which will give you stable photos and videos even when device is shaking a bit. We took some photos from the device back camera in low light at the India launch event, they came out to be pretty good. The internal storage of the device is 32Gb which seems good enough but you also have the MicroSD card slot which can accept upto 64Gb card inside.

Display, OS and Battery

The extra screen space does create a new column of tiles in vertical way and gives much needed space to many tablets like tasks in this device. The OS running in the device is windows phone 8 which looks the same but there are some new apps and features added to the OS to make it more useful in day to day usage scenarios. The battery on the device is 3400 mAh which seems to pretty justified for this huge display phone and should last easily not for one day but even more, but we will tell you more about it.
