Design and Build

In terms of the design there is no difference in between a Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 525, both of them are same in terms of size and other most of the physical dimensions, but the back cover on the device is matte finish but comes with glossy look which looks great and also pretty good for handgrip. The build quality of the device is again decent and this time the back cover is not made up to thin plastic better strong polycarbonate plastic has been used and one thing to note is that, it is still not a heavy phone.

Camera and Internal Storage

The only camera on the device is at the rear 5MP which seems to be good in daylight and low light is also pretty ok as compared to what you get on other devices at this price point. The in built storage of the device is 8GB out of which around 5 GB approx. is available to the user.

OS and Battery

The OS which runs on the device is windows phone 8, its pretty responsive and snappy while using the device with few or many apps running in the background, you will also will now be able to install apps on this device which requires 1 Gb of RAM like Instagram, Vine and some games.

Initial Conclusion and Overview and Price

In all we can easily see that there are no major things which are new in Lumia 525, its only the RAM upgrade and some cosmetic design changes and better quality of the plastic being used. This device is not going to be available at the same price as we have for the Lumia 520 but it will be on the little higher side, so you can expect a gap of around Rs. 1000-2000 INR in the final price, which will be the MRP.
