We expected to see more of the MT6582 chipset in India and according to the trusted source for Micromax mobile leaks, MMXNewscaster, Micromax will soon launch Microamax A200, a 1.3 GHz Quad core smartphone in India, which will most likely house a MT6582 SoC. We can expect this phone to be priced somewhere around 10k INR.
The Micromax A200 will allegedly come with 4.7 inch 720P HD display. The 4.7 inch is what most people consider the perfect balanced display size, and the resolution is more than what we have seen on other MT6582 phones so far. The display will also be protected by corning gorilla glass 2.
The 1.3 GHz quad core processor will be backed by 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The storage will most likely be extendable to 32 GB. The Chipset specs seem pretty good for the expected price range.
The primary camera is of 8 MP and a 5 MP camera is also present at the front for video calling. The battery capacity is 1800 mAh which is expected to last one day with moderate usage considering the display size. The phone can be a very good option if Micromax manages to keep the pricing under the 10K mark.
