Recently we covered that Intel has launched 3 new smartphones in their Cloud Y series. Almost all those devices has the same specifications and were affordable for the majority of Indian Customers. Today Intex has launched another devices targeting the high-end segment of Indian Smartphone users. The device seems to be decent as per the specifications but its major rivals will be from the price segment of Rs. 6,000 approximately.
Intex Aqua i2 has the capacitive touchscreen 5 Inches display with the resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. So, the pixel density is not great rather users may have better display from its rivals. The processor used on Intex Aqua i2 is a Dual Core processor clocked at the frequency of 1.2 GHz, none other than Mediatek MTK6572.

This device also has 2 SIM slots, wherein one supports the GSM band but the other one supports the WCDMA band and the good part is that they operate with Dual Standby mode. The memory allocated to RAM is 512 MB and the inbuilt storage capacity of the device is 4GB which can be extended with the help of external memory card.
The primary camera available on Intex Aqua i2 is of 5 MP supported by an LED Flash and that of secondary camera is 2 MP. Looking at the screen size, its resolution and the processor, 1700 mAh may not be sufficient for the fluid performance of the device.
The operating system on which Intex Aqua i2 operates is Android v4.2.2 Jellybean and there is no word about whether it will have any update or not. The price of the device is not known but the device has been spotted from the official website of Intex.
