We are excited to make Kindle Paperwhite available to our customers in India.”

The new Kindle Paperwhite will feature a 6 inch display with better pixel density, higher contrast and better reflectivity giving you whiter whites and darker blacks. The display light is guided towards the surface to reduce strain on your eyes while reading. The display is also more responsive compared to its predecessor. The onboard storage is 2 GB which can hold up to 1100 books

Another added feature is the new vocabulary builder which compiles words you look up in the dictionary into an easy-to-access list. You can also use these lists to quiz yourself with flashcards and instantly see words in context.
