Micromax has further extended its Funbook tablet portfolio by adding, Funbook P256 and Funbook P365 priced at Rs. 4,6983 and Rs. 6,990 respectively. Both of these tablets are intended for first time Android users and come with humble hardware specifications.

Both of these tablets sport a 7 inch display with unimpressive 480 x 800 WVGA resolution. The Funbook P365 being the better of the two, comes with 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 processor with Mali 400 GPU paired with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage, expandable to 32 GB.

At the back you will get 2 MP camera and at the front a VGA shooter is present for modest video calls. The hardware derives its power from an average 2800 mAh battery. On the software front the tablet features Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system. For 3G support you will have to use an external Dongle.

The Micromax Funbook P256 on the other hand is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor assisted by 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB using microSD support. Apart from the 3 MP camera at the back, a front 1.3 MP shooter is also present at the front.

The battery capacity is 3000 mAh and the software is Android 4.0.4 ICS which is again quite outdated. You can get 3G connectivity via external dongle support.
