India’s iBall just widened its offerings in the budget segment with another smartphone release — the iBall Andi 4-B2. As seen on most devices in this segment, the 4-B2 too comes with a 4 inch screen taking care of the display.
The device comes loaded with Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The aforementioned 4 inch display packs a standard WVGA resolution, returning a not-so-bad ppi of 233. Under the hood, the Andi 4-B2 comes with a dual core 1.3GHz processor based on the Cortex A7 A7 platform. Taking care of imagery are two cameras; a 3.2MP at the rear (assisted by LED flash) and a VGA unit at the front.
On the storage front, the device comes with 2GB on-board ROM along with unspecified amount of RAM. The device will have a 1400mAh battery to supply juice to the internals. iBall have also bundled a few free apps like WhatsApp, WeChat, Facebook among others
The device gets a price tag of 5,299 INR which does look a bit steep for a device of this calibre. However, iBall have also given a ‘best-buy’ price which is straight 700 bucks down, i.e., 4,299 INR.
